Upcoming Event: NKCF to Host Second Keratoconus Family Symposium
For individuals living with keratoconus, understanding their diagnosis and potential treatment options can be difficult.
To help provide important information to those affected by this condition, the National Keratoconus Foundation will host its second Keratoconus Family Symposium on May 12th in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This event will provide attendees valuable resources for dealing with keratoconus. Furthermore, it will give patients and their families the opportunity to share their personal experiences with others who are living with keratoconus.
Held at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor, the day will include presentations and discussions with eye doctors and eye care providers. In addition, attendees will be able to participate in patient led sessions and workshops.
Some of the topics to be covered include: using contact lenses for keratoconus, taking care of contact lens supplies, and understanding cross-linking as a possible treatment option.
